Oisin took Trey, and a Potion of Longevity, up to Pinbol’s house. Pinbol was reticent to take the potion, because there were people that were more in need of it. He agreed to hold onto the potion for now, but did not immediately consume it. He agreed to work on Trey.
Rosie hung out with Daisy in the morning and tried to find a place to purchase a miniature horse. She was able to purchase one and the supplies for it. She then trained in sword fighting with Connor.
Lark and Foster began giving rides under the title “Foster’s Landbeary Service.” Free rides for people trading stories. GB showed up to advertise the new service in the sky and have a ride. “Free Bearback Riding” appeared above Cinderhaven.
Cyl planned the sculpt for the eirshale boulder.
Beerforge
Oisin, Lark, and GB showed up together. They looked at the painting of the heroes of old. This time, Oisin recognized Ooma in the painting. She had been in the shared memory that he and Saxi relived with their Elumis gift. They thought that Ooma was possibly Oisin’s mother.
Cyl arrived. Oisin and GB talked about Pinbol’s and Oisin’s discussion of awakening their kittens. Rosie and Oisin arrived and Rosie brought Kili the poney into the Beerforge with her.
Afra walked in with a very large book under her arm. She placed it on the table and went to get a drink. It was handmade, red-leather, with a blank cover. As GB opened it, they saw it was a Guild Charter. The first third or quarter of the book had a lot of legalese. The rest had blank areas and tables of things. Afra came over with a couple drinks and Ivy brought her food.
Afra flipped to a bit of the book for signing that had twenty-four blank signature areas. She began explaining how they would be able to operate as an adventuring guild and what extra rights they would have—e.g., they would be immune from normal transcription; they would be empowered to kill monsters, people, etc. that threaten the nation/city; they would be bound to respect other nations’/cities’ laws regarding no vigilantism. New members would have to be reported within certain time periods. Guilds had to have only one main location in the city and only three locations anywhere in the nation of Soldhan. They must pay taxes: 20% of any treasures or property brought into any city in Soldan for personal use/trade/etc.
The party agreed to pay taxes monthly. Afra informed them that there would be specific turf set out for each guild where that guild would operate and be allowed to adventure. The party did not select a particular area. The party informed Afra that Kali was their elected representative.
Afra requested the party decide on a name for the guild. She said she would bring suggestions. Afra said that The Guild Hall was open and their area in it was ready for them.
Afternoon Activities
Everyone went their separate ways for the afternoon.
Rosie successfully took her first sackbut lesson with Zreet. Gebidiah Chermain, the head of the Shepherds, was her teacher. GB got Connor together with Oisin to talk about Ooma.
Lark went home to get Jastra. He took her to Cyl’s shop and invited her and Dub on a double date. Cyl ran off to grab Dub, who wore a nice blue and grey tunic working in the workshop. Dub agreed immediately. Jastra was very touched by the gesture, having never been on a date before.
Oisin and Pinbol planned on getting the kittens awakened together the next day.
