Veldarian Arc

The Veldarian Arc is a collection of islands formed in the middle of the Great Ocean, located at almost the midpoint between the Temüjin Empire and the Imperial Heirate it forms an axis of trade between these two major nations. The Valdarian Arc is a fractured and dangerous place, but also a mercantile centre and location of surprisingly abundant natural resources. Most major cities claim independence as city states, with perhaps some smaller outlying towns providing resources and taxes in exchange for protection. Some of the larger islands have governments that claim dominion across the whole island, but this is more the exception that the norm.   The Veldarian Arc was not always this way, some 200 years ago the Vexallus Kingdom claimed dominion over the entirety of the Arc, until they were broken under the hammer of the Temüjin Empire.   The new Vexallus King seeks to return the Kingdom to its former glory, he has a plan, aided by the discovery of a relic from the Temüjin War.
