Empress Sulameth
Sulameth rules the northernmost Haighlei kingdom of Kmbata. Her reign began sometime during the Mage Wars.
By those who have had an audience with her, she is described as "sitting like a stiff statue...wearing the pelt of the lion over one shoulder, but the rest of her outfit consists of a robe of brilliant saffron color, belted with a sash made of thousands of links of pure gold, so finely made that at a distance is appears woven. Her pectoral collar was made to match, with the stylized mask of a lion on the front."
She has ten sons and two daughters born to her Year-Consorts; men chosen to give her children during the first century on the throne. This insured that she could marry, if she chose, for love rather than to produce heirs.
