Threads of Magic

Threads of Magic span the whole world. They touch and go through everything. All living beings absorb some of the energy coming through them before being born or hatched. However, the amount isn't the same for every being. Some absorb more and if they have enough of it, they can use it. They become what the intelligent species call mages. In rare cases of someone absorbing huge amounts of energy while in the womb, they can see and manipulate the threads of magic. They are the so-called Weavers.

Weavers can do almost anything with the threads. They use them to travel to everywhere almost instantaneously, become visible or even kill with the threads. Weaver assassins are considered the deadliest and most elusive assassins in all of Veneficia.
