Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Tall and gangly, body type of the kind of nerd who would get shoved into a locker in high school.

Body Features

As a tiefling, Len has a pair of horns sprouting from his head, they are sharply pointed, extending straight up for about 5.5 inches. The horns colour are similar to his skin colour at their base and darken closer to the top.

Facial Features

A sharply pointed nose, pale skin (as pale as purple can manage) if Len gets a lot of sun he gets dark purple freckles, so he tries not to get a lot of sun. He definitely has a big floppy sun hat to protect himself from The Sun. Sharp cheekbones, thin lips, sharp teeth. Slight wrinkles around the eyes and the crease of the forehead as he is slightly farsighted but hasn't quite worked it out yet.

Identifying Characteristics

The previously mentioned horns, Len also has a tail with the same coloring. It ends with a softened point and moves to reflect his mood, like a cats.

Physical quirks

Len is ambidextrous but tends to use his right hand to write and his left hand to spell cast.

Apparel & Accessories

Wears mail armor, with the undermost layer of clothing (the layer that touches his skin) being made of silk or equivalent soft material. His boots are well worn but kept in excellent repair, they show evidence of having the soles replaced a few times.

Gender Identity

COMPLICATED! Len was AMAB, spent several years experimenting with gender presentation and identity during his apprenticeship under the approving and supportive eye of Mother Wren. Len presents as vaguely feminine (so much as someone in armor can) and uses he/him and they/them pronouns.

Sexuality

Len is a sapiosexual in search of a morosexual to love him, sex, gender, race, class, these are all unimportant as long as there is a big beautiful brain in there to love.

Education

Home schooled until the age of 13, where he was apprenticed to Mother Wren, a cleric of the Traveller until age 20. Len is very curious and self-teaches as his interest pulls him.

Quick to act but does not think things through, easily flustered, flighty, scared of commitment, physically weak but forgets physically limitations, short attention span, sensitive to physical discomfort (despite high pain tolerance, these things do not register in the same part of the brain), can be callous to those he dislikes, superstitious, sees omens and portents in everything

When Len is nervous and speaking he tends to draw out words, as though to buy himself some time to think of what to say next. He is also quick to blush and easily flustered. He is superstitious, does not walk under ladders, throwing salt over his shoulder, etc.

Generally tidy, though life on the road does not lend to as regular a bath as Len would prefer. He is fastidious about keeping his hands clean.

Family Ties

Comes from a large family, standard 1 mother and 1 father, 1 elder sister, 2 elder brothers (twins), 2 younger sisters and 1 younger brother. Mother was an only child, father was youngest of 4 brothers.

Religious Views

Fervent believer in the power of the Traveler, and a general belief of the existence of the Gods in general, what with the magic and all. Len is also low key superstitious.

Wealth & Financial state

Len grew up fairly hand to mouth as a child, settling into a more upper-middle-class level of travelling comfort in his apprenticeship. While Len grew up fairly oblivious to any financial hardship his family might have been having, he did notice a difference between life with his family and life with Mother Wren. He was taught to keep ledgers and to track his incoming and outgoing funds and made of game of keeping track of where they went to.
