Wyvern

A genetically engineered subspecies of dragon. Through magic, dragon eggs where modified to produce a smaller, less powerful, but faster growing warrior subspecies. During the Drakdels first war against Loranna, dragons loyal to both engineered their own wyvern armies to help turn the tide. Two reorderings later, what few wyverns are left are incredibly rare, and mostly reside on the Keldorian continent.
