Humans
Build a legacy, a legacy that will stand the test of time.
"We were the last saved. We are no less valuable than the other races. It just means we need to work harder than we ever have to prove ourselves. The elves have their precious gods, the firbolg have a natural order, gnomes have their magic and we have our minds. It's these minds that are going to shape this world. It's these minds that are going to create a legacy of man that will last these passing days, do not see it as a slight, instead a test.
Championed for Hope
I do have to admit, humans are a resilient race. No matter how many may fall to illness or battle others will rise to take their place. Their natural state leaves nothing to write legends about. Most grow to 5'11" and the oldest only live for 85 years. They have however an inextinguishable drive to create a legacy for themselves. It is this ability to never admit they are disadvantaged that swells the courage of humans to achieve such greatness. They have built cities, wrote amazing songs and tales and even held their own against the other Star Saved that outlive or outfight them. Why, one of my closest friends is a human, though I would never admit that to him.
They say humans were chosen by the Goddess of Fate Eyona (Bless the threads and the path we walk). She chose them because she saw much of herself in their machinations. These machinations have often lead them to trouble and sometimes conflict. It is the fault of their emotions. It leaves them unbalanced and illogical and this can often result in a mistimed insult or slight against another. Then before you know it war breaks out between two kingdoms!
Whether through prolonged conflict with each other or misadventure the tide of human population often pulse and surge. As much as they kill each other they also love each other with the same passion and their lifespan is so fleeting (Though admittedly not the shortest lifespan, that belongs to the Aarakocra) they completely devote themselves to the tasks at hand. I have never seen a species come together as when they are all threatened by a common enemy. It is this duality that empowered the Goddess of Fate (Bless the threads and the path we walk) and made her lift humans from the soil of Luna.

The Lowlanders
The Lowlanders are found near the coasts and cities of the Kingdom of Estua. They often have darker skin after being exposed to the sun over many hours at the docks. This constant work has developed the tone of the lowlanders and most sport broad shoulders and muscle. There is no rest for a lowlander as there is always more work to be done. The lowlanders value loyalty above all else, saying that anyone of their race is family regardless of where they hail from.
The Highlanders
Highlanders are the farmers and business men of the world. Though not a single highlander has ever picked up a farming scythe instead they are masters of delegation. Shorter in height and stature than their Lowland counterparts. This lack of physical prowess is made up by the Highlanders ability to debate and argue. They are always the first to anger though not the first into a fight. They spend their times instead reading and bettering their magical prowess or business venture.
A soft spot for exuberance
If i know one thing about the power of the story, it is the power to weave a convincing lie. No one is more versed in this than the human it seems. In all my travels i have never found a race more prone to exaggeration. The do not mean to intetionally mislead but i have often found their stories full of energy and great deeds that would not have logically came to pass. I will give you this warning, when listening to a humans story, heed not EVERY word that comes from their lips.Strength, Unity and Prosperity in all things
