Gar'rath

Gar'rath's tribe of Verdan has long been enslaved by a Black Dragon. Long ago this particular dragon enslaved the verdans for entertainment, slaves, food, and bait for adventurers. Eventually the adventurers grew to be too strong for the verdan, and, smelling dragon ancestry on one such adventurer, it had an idea. To increase the ability of its slaves, the dragon would give them magic. To do so, he began to rape the verdan, hoping to pass his magic down to their bloodline. It was successful, and the verdans grew stronger, gaining magic to use in his service.
As the years went on and the verdan gained more strength, some of them were eventually able to escape the dragons hold over them. Gar'reth, being taken and freed as a newborn, hasn't known his people suffering personally. But he knows the story. And he knows there is a dragon out there that isn't happy with his small tribes escape from his hold. Now realizing he is one of those "blessed" with the dragons "gift" of magic, his tribe has demanded he leave. Leave specifically to go and take revenge on the dragon, and free any of their people he still has enslaved. His first attempt to get revenge on the dragon was to search for a legal means. It didn't work out, turns out you can't sue a dragon. Now he seeks to use his "gift" to take his revenge. He will kill this dragon or die trying.
His first goal, find this dragon. As time went on, unfortunately, the dragon had left its original lair leaving him with a dead-end in his search for vengeance. Needing a means of travel, income, and a way to get information,  Gar'rath joined a traveling circus using his magic and skill with a bow to secure his roll. During his travels with the circus he managed to learn of some dragons, but never the right one. Still, he used this information to meet with and lessen from some of the less aggressive dragons, even reaching an agreement with one to gain some more power. Eventually the circus traveled is way to Lilly Port in Astaria and was caught up in the events there when the elemental entities attacked on behalf of the Lich. This was when Gar'rath first met the Versatile Wyrms and decided to join them, leaving the circus behind. 
Even now, as a member of the Versatile Wyrms, he still keeps an ear out for any rumors of black dragons, and spends the most time of all the Wyms traveling around.
