A perfectly spherical opal, faintly translucent and hosting a raging flame within its core.

While attuned to this orb, you know the control flames cantrip, and you gain a +1 to spell attack rolls made while holding this orb. Additionally, you know the burning hands and scorching ray spells, and always have them prepared.

Conflagrate. As an action on your turn, you can create a small ember that quickly swells into an inferno before hurtling forth. This ball of flame travels in a straight line up to 60 feet in a direction of your choice and stops early if it impacts against a solid surface. If the swirling ball of flame would strike a creature, that creature must make a Dexterity saving throw against your spell save DC. On a failed save, the creature takes 4d6 fire damage, and the ball of flame disperses. You can do so thrice, regaining all uses after completing a long rest. [Base Material, Enhancement]
