Advertising Businesses

Businesses run by player characters that sell services or generally have the intent to barter, may post an advertisement on the Notice Board in place of the Bazaar Market. Any violation or suspected misuse of the Notice Board, such as in an attempt to evade Bazaar fees, will result in a ban of use by players involved for the length of the phase.
When businesses run advertisements they must belong to either of the following categories:
Services can be anything from selling crafting days by creating consumables, magic items, etc. selling downtime days to forage or research, selling spells for use in magic item crafting, selling access to a spell book, etc. This is a general list, but it is not an exclusive one. Advertisements for shops are good examples of this.
Bartering is the exchange of goods or services in exchange for goods or services and without the use of gold/other currency. If currency is exclusively involved, then the Notice Board is not the appropriate place to post, and it must be sent through the #bazaar-market.
Advertisements for businesses cost 200gp to post and you are limited to 1 posting per week. You can remove these advertisements at any time for no charge.

Advertising Non-Profits

This can be anything from advertising clubs, organizations, or institutions that make any revenue through charitable sources. It is not a requirement to pay non-profits and any profit they do make is usually spent on achieving an overall cause or goal.
Examples of non-profits in Verum might be book clubs, art clubs, free instructional classes, religious institutions, and companies or factions looking for recruits.
Advertising non-profits cost 75 gp per post and you are limited to 2 postings per week. You can remove these advertisements at any time for no charge.

Advertising News

These can be anything from rumors, events, or anything players or NPC’s wish to share to the world. Refrain from shit posting vandalism, as it will be removed.
Advertisements for news costs nothing to post, but you are limited to 3 postings per week. You can remove these advertisements at any time for no charge.

Paying Your Advertisement Fees

The Advertisement fee is due before you post in the Universal Notice Board channel. You should post in the #trading-log with the following format:

@Trading @Username#0000 Spending xx gp for # of advertisements [any details of the advertisements here] Starting gold: Ending gold:

You must wait for a :thumbsup: on your trading-log request before posting in the universal notice board, regardless of the type of advertisement.
Lastly, if you wish us to ping certain roles or groups OOC (e.g., Tier 1, 2 or, 3), you must pay an extra 1000g for targeted advertisement and may only ping Tiers. Tier 0 pings cost only 100gp

The Great Bazaar Involvement

Aside from oversight of the Notice Board, the Great Bazaar faction also directly profits from the use of this board. On the first day of each month, the Great Bazaar is paid for the total gold made from the previous month.
For example, throughout April, the Great Bazaar generated 400gp in revenue from the Notice Board. On May 1st, the Great Bazaar QM is given the total profits from April and can deposit the gold into the faction bank.
