Dalar Ra-Vass (a.k.a. 'The Round Ra', 'The Raiding Ra.\)

Dalar Ra-Vass is the current Ra of Olziir. Once known as a former bandit, Dalar was a feared and respected Ra that was renown for her brutal strength and use of a huge battle ax. Unfortunately, shortly after her appointment in Olziir, the so-called 'Raider Ra' had became the 'Round Ra'. Years of living an affluent and uncaring lifestyle as a noble lord has spoiled Dalar. Rather than spend her time fighting, Dalar now spends most of her time in decadence, her coin is spent upon extravagant feasts, or recently, funding newly sanctioned brothels in an effort to free slaves. Dalar has gained mixed reviews.
Some respect the Ra for her past as a fighter, and her willingness to change Olziir into a more hospital tourist town, others, however, find themselves annoyed with her increasingly harsh that limit the use and trade of slaves.

Education

Dalar's early education mostly came from her parents. Her mother taught her how to plant, sow, and farm, and her father taught her how to fight. Not in a dainty or pathetic way either -- once part of the gladiator pits, Dalar's father had made certain to let her know that fighting clean is a quick way to find yourself killed in the heat of battle. Later down the road, she learned how to fight from a group of bandits that took her and her mother in as their own.
Education came way later in life, when she became a noble, several scholars had attempted to teach her more, but the only thing that truly caught Dalar's interest was battle...and new ways to lounge about as a lord, now that she no longer truly had to fight.

Employment

As a slave, Dalar was young. Her parents took up most of the tasks, but she mostly did farm work, plowing the field and sowing seeds. After her master was killed, Dalar fled and became a bandit with her mother.
Dalar became a ferocious fighter, raiding caravans or anyone foolish enough to step along the Lonely River. When her ranks grew strong enough, she lead a rebellion with several slaves on Olziir at the request of the Empress. The few slaves that refused to serve her were executed, and the rebellion ended when Dalar planted her axe in the Ra's chest.
Victorious, Dalar was appointed the new Ra of Olziir by the Empress.

Accomplishments & Achievements

Killing Her Master: Her former master was a vile man; one that attempted to exploit her and her mother for being slaves. Fortunately, her father's training had saved her when he took her master by surprise by stabbing him in the eye with a stray shard from a shattered face. She continued until he died.
Becoming a Bandit: Meeting with the bandits on the Lonely River, Dalar became an accomplished fighter.
