The Fae
Abstract concepts exist for Fae as well, most notably the The Norns, who are said to embody fate itself. The Norns carry a lot of power with their influence, and are often venerated as Goddesses in their own right.
Particularly powerful Oni are called Asura; these malevolent creatures are known to carry so much power that they are often likened to Gods in their own right. Fortunately, Asura are exceptionally rare and require a high concentration of corruption to result in their manifestation.
The Oni
The Oni are Fae that embody everything that is wrong with this world. They are often malevolent, but not always. When enough negativity begins to permeate an area, an Oni may manifest in the stead of a Fae. Due to being born from corrupt concepts such as Murder or Misery, Oni seek to spread what created them as a means to create more of their kind. The most notable Oni are HagsParticularly powerful Oni are called Asura; these malevolent creatures are known to carry so much power that they are often likened to Gods in their own right. The Crann
Crann are exceptionally powerful Fae that are treated as Gods in their own right. They are worshiped as a pantheon by the Fianni and Elven people, and represent a fundamental aspect of the world at large. They lord over other Fae and are often seen as the most powerful entity you can find within the world of Veska, barring the Norns.Cultural Reception
Humans: Humans are unsettled by the Fae due to propaganda set by The Holy Church, whom finds their existence to contradictory to the creation myth behind their faith. Many humans know of their existence now, but are apprehensive to treat them with the same veneration that Elves and Fianni do.
Elves & Fianni: The Elves and Fianni practically deify the Fae, seeing them as the fundamental pieces of nature to keep the world running. They often build shrines and grant offerings in hopes of receiving boons or blessings from them.
Orcs: The Orcs place their worship in a War God named Bah'Quell, who is actually a dead Asura of war. Orcs believe one of their kind to be the descendent of Bah'Quell and are locked in a perpetual civil war on deciding who will lead their people as a unified whole.
