Ance is currently in its Golden Age of Exploration. Ance is ancient, full of old Human, Elven, Dwarven, and Draconic empires and kingdoms with hardly any wilderness in between.

THE UNION Following the end of the Dawn War two centuries ago, the continent of Ance was united under the Union as independent kingdoms to end the near-constant war with each other. Following the end of the Dawn war, the Silver Twilight Treaty ratified the following: All kingdoms are to kneel to the Union and obey its laws. All kingdoms are to surrender 25% of their taxes and 50% of their standing army to the Armies of the Union. No kingdom should rebel against the Union or wage war against any other kingdom within. The Saints are selected from any economic class, race, and kingdom by the Oracles. The Core Council is compromised by at least five representatives from each kingdom.
