The Sun, Thrones, and Moons

In the night sky above the world of Vessel, aside from the stars above piercing the Veil, there's a number of celestial bodies.

The Thrones

Sol - The High Sun

High above in the sky, Sol casts his light upon all, giving life to the world. Being the dominant member of the pantheon, the High Sun acts as his Throne.

Lyra - The Festival Moon

Lyra's Throne is a moon that shines with a kaleidoscope of colors, each phase bringing a different hue. It's said to influence the moods of people, encouraging celebration and relaxation.

Breen - The Verdant Moon

This moon is lush with visible greenery and vibrant life. Its appearance changes with Vessel's seasons, symbolizing renewal and growth.

Varanthe - The Twin Moons of Endeavor

Represented by two small moons orbiting each other, one brightly shining and the other more subdued. They symbolize the dual aspects of success and learning from failure.

Aurelius - The Equilibrium Moon

A celestial body marked by its strikingly balanced features. It has a unique natural phenomenon where one half is perpetually shrouded in shadow, while the other is always bathed in light. This contrast represents the delicate balance between justice and crime, honor and dishonor.

Eurydice - The Passion Moon

Eurydice's Throne changes colors from deep reds to soft pinks, reflecting the intense emotions of love and hate. Its phases are believed to influence emotional states on Vessel.

Thalassa - The Tidal Moon

A moon with a surface that appears fluid, almost oceanic. It influences the tides on Vessel and symbolizes the dual nature of calm and storm.

Seren - The Dormant Moon

A barren, frost-covered moon, its surface a stark landscape that embodies decay, rest, and the preparation for new beginnings.

Morana - The Hearth Moon

This moon glows with a soft, warm light, providing comfort in the night. It's seen as a guardian of families and a guide for souls, symbolizing the warmth of the hearth and the cycle of life and death.

The Pale Moon

The Final Throne is known as the Pale Moon, a seemingly vacant and desolate celestial body that orbits distantly from Vessel. It appears devoid of features, displaying an eerily uniform pale surface that stands in stark contrast to the more vibrant moons of other deities.
