Mage of the Sun Merdisar

An elderly man in charge of the colony of Kwon, Mage of the Sun Merdisar is a crafty and sometimes devious man who once hailed from Xandulor.
Shortly before his "promotion," Merdisar was a key member of the court of Xuros, King of Xandulor. He acted as Xuros' public voice, which gave him much leeway in the decrees of Xandulor. In fact it was suspected that Merdisar was decreeing laws specifically counter to Numia VI's desires, and that many of those laws were never ordered by Xuros. Fed up with this attitude, Numia VI gave him the position of Mage of the Sun over the colony of Kwon. This was technically a promotion, however, Merdisan knows this was a political move against him, and he was more than displeased.
Since his appointment over the mining colony of Kwon, Merdisan has been politically restrained. However, this has not stopped him from scheming against the throne; although the Thuonin soldiers are much more loyal to the queen than to Merdisan, and thus he cannot make any public moves against her. Only the old man himself knows what black thoughts he has in mind.
