Vesteria

Vesteria is the westernmost continent known to the Human race, and is the last continent they have begun to colonize. The native Salusk occupy this continent as their own, never having left it to colonize other lands. In addition to rugged, untamed, and beautiful wilderness, Vesteria possesses a rich history and bountiful natural resources. While the Salusk have a close connection to their home and a great respect for nature and what it provides, humans, per the usual, have already started felling forests and mining mountains to strip Vesteria of her wealth one boomtown at a time. The two species are living peacefully together for the time being, though mistrust isn't completely nonexistent.

Geography

Expansive conifer forests in the west and deciduous forests in the east. Several large mountain ranges divide the continent, with occasional badlands at the fringes of the continent. Three large lakes dot the western side of the continent. Countless rivers run throughout the landmass, allowing its plant life to flourish greatly. The coastal regions are often bordered by sheer cliffs and powerful currents, making coming to or leaving the continent difficult.

Fauna & Flora

Salusk are the main intelligent race, with Human colonists exerting their will upon the continent. Other species of common animals include deer, goats, pheasants & grouse, wolves, bears, drakes and dragons, as well as the mysterious Wraith .

Natural Resources

Lumber, fish, stone, copper, iron, gems & precious metals, wild game, dragon and monster parts, and the occasional magical artifact.
