Undertaker of Braggo and its Wider Holdings
The Undertaker of Braggo and its Wider Holdings is a jarl-appointed position charged with digging graves, preparing bodies for burial, and dealing with unwanted animal carcasses. Though officially a civic position, most Jarls have been content to allow it to be passed down hereditarily, and the position has belonged to the Jaevers family for generations.
While undeniably important, the position comes with a fair amount of stigma, due to both its inherently grisly nature and the fact that the belief that only priests should be allowed to handle the dead has begun to supercede older Vetr customs.
The current Undertaker of Braggo and its Wider Holdings is Reldha Gravemann, bastard daughter of Tord Jaevers, the previous Undertaker.
