Joining the Adventurers' Guild

In a stone strong-hold not far from The Arena lies the Guild Hall for the adventurers of Springreach. Led by the charasmatic half-elf, Wesley Mystralath, the Guild Hall serves as a home, training grounds, and liaison for hired adventurers and mercenaries to seek respite and work between quests.

Starting Your Adventure in Springreach

In the hopes of fostering success among the future heroes of Springreach, the Adventurer's Guild is willing to host newcomers to the city.

The Guild Hall will provide you with free food and lodging as you begin your journey as an adventurer for up to 2 quests (covering your Lifestyle expenses), at which point you must either find other lodging of your own, or become an official member of the Guild.

Being a Guild Member

To become a member of the Guild, you simply have to apply and pay dues.
  • Enrollment Fee: 100gp or 1 Common magical item (not including Healing Potions)
  • Weekly Dues: 10gp*These dues are in addition to your Lifestyle cost

Why join the Guild?

Being a Guild Member comes with perks that no other citizen in Springreach would have access to.
  • Room and board at the Guild Hall for a Modest or Comfortable living
  • Allowed to wear broach, cloak or symbol of Guild
  • Discounts on room and board at select taverns in other cities that recognize the Guild
  • Potential for discounts with select merchants or travel in Springreach and other cities
  • Easier access to other social circles that recognize the Guild
  • Help finding work
  • Access to Guild workshops for Crafting purposes
  • Guild support for quests in the form of select temporary buffs
Temporary Buffs

These are small buffs that a PC gets to claim before they head off on their next quest. While the Guild may offer a few different temporary buffs, each PC can only have one buff applied at a time.

There is a role-play requirement for obtaining a buff. The player can RP eating a meal in the Guild mess hall, lighting incense in the Guild Chapel, feeding their horse in the stables...or anything else that makes sense for the chosen buff. Once they do so, they obtain their respective buff which lasts until it is used, or the quest ends.

Current Buffs (more may be added later):

Travel Snack: Common Healing Potion

Prayer: DM Inspiration

Animal Feed: +2 to mount's AC for 1 minute

Adventuring Supplies: Can take up to 10 arrows and up to 5 rations from the Guild supply for free
