Operating under the direct orders of their sect leader, faction head, and ultimately the Ruler, Aces play a crucial role in maintaining order and discipline within the organization.

Aces, whether Black or Red, report directly to their immediate superiors and execute high-priority tasks. Their roles grant them significant authority and influence, making them critical to the Myriad’s operations and security.
There are two distinct categories of Aces, each with specialized roles and functions.

Black Aces

Role: Black Aces serve primarily as bodyguards and interrogators. They are tasked with protecting high-value targets and ensuring the safety of key figures within the Syndicate. In their role as interrogators, they extract critical information from individuals who may pose a threat or hold valuable intelligence.
Skills and Abilities: Black Aces are skilled in close-quarters combat, personal protection, and advanced interrogation techniques. Red Aces

Role: Red Aces operate as assassins and spies. Their primary functions involve carrying out covert assassinations and gathering intelligence on both internal and external threats. Black Aces: Black Aces ensure the safety of assigned targets, high-ranking members and the Ruler. They create secure environments and responding to threats. Black Aces also extract information from suspects or captives. This involves employing a range of techniques to obtain crucial intelligence while maintaining the integrity of the information.
Red Aces: The Red Aces perform targeted assassinations on individuals considered a threat or crucial to the organization’s agenda. To avoid being detected, they must work with precision and discretion. They collect information from both internal and external sources. This encompasses the infiltration of sects, factions, and non-magical organizations, as well as monitoring their communications and reporting any potential threats or opportunities.
An Ace builds their legacy through their actions and by instilling fear within the organization. They are bound by a strict code of conduct that emphasizes loyalty, discretion, and unwavering commitment to the organization’s goals. While Aces enjoy a high level of autonomy, they are still held accountable to their immediate superiors.
