EVE Society

Bound by their predetermined future, the members of the EVE Society are coerced into fulfilling the whims of their organization. These individuals are seen as the forefront of the next generation of leaders, the dolls strategically positioned in the epicenter of influence, who will be educated in overcoming those beneath them.

The Society

The EVE Society is a cluster of gangs, where every member is either a gang leader or a high-ranking subordinate. Additionally, this group are the most dangerous and/or influential young criminals of their generation. Members of the EVE Society are the extensions of their parents/guardians will. Given that the Aeres building is recognized as neutral territory, it is not uncommon to come across instances rival gang members sharing a table, or even engaging in activities that one would not typically expect.

Along with a standard education, EVE Society members are somtimes given more dangerous tasks to complete than regular organization kids due to their strong abilities or overall ruthlessness. These individuals are raised to prioritize the importance of ruling discreetly, much like their parents and leaders. Unsanctioned physical violence among members is not only frowned upon but punishable by the organization, leaving the members to establish a thin truce among themselves.

Status, Influence and Prestige

The EVE society was created to give the strongest a limited period of social independence, enabling them to enjoy their remaining years before almost unrestrained. After graduation they bound by the familial obligations to serve under the Myriad's rule.

This small group are treated as celebrities at Vikan Academy due to their vast networking and social influence. Their fashion is tailored and form fitting luxury brands. As the embodiment of luxury and fantasy, members are expected to maintain a certain appearance, as they are unofficially considered the faces of Vikan Academy. Because of their social status and prestige, even Vikan students often pay a nominal fee to spend up to three hours with a society member.

Members often encourage certain students to partake in exclusive, luxurious and often expensive social events and parties both on and off campus as a means of control and gaining power. These types of events include booking hotel banquet halls, private villas, weekend getaways and more. Their influence off campus often leads to an increase of sales and attendance at locales, especially ones they frequent. Not all members are affluently wealthy or come from wealthy families, but it is said that those who are members until their graduation become so.

Membership

Membership selection is highly selective, with only a maximum of 35 students receiving personal invitations at any time. To be eligible for and keep membership, a student must achieve a ranking within the top 50 of their year every semester.

Entering the EVE society is by invitation only and individuals must meet certain criteria to be even considered as a potential member. There are three types of invitations that can be given:
  • Invitations from a general member
  • Invitation by the EVE president
  • Invitation from a Myriad member

Most invitations are extended to fellow members already established in the society. Invitations personally sent by the EVE Society president means the recognition of a new up and coming gang and its leader. These invitations are uncommon. The rarest of invitations come from a Myriad member. These invitations do not require the invitee to be head or even part of a gang. These recipients are considered anomalies that must be carefully observed.

One of the core principles that marks an EVE Society member is rising in the ranks and attaining both wealth and dominant influence through cunning, manipulation and tact. Dominance over other members is won through academics and sanctioned trials lead overseen by the Myriad. Many have tried to buy off the teachers and professors to achieve membership or rank but they've only lasted at most two semesters before being outwitted, crushed and/or expelled from the campus by their rivals or other EVE members who deemed them a threat to the club itself.
