Tranquillomancy

Tranquillomancy or 'Peace-Magic' is the art of pacifying both men and nature. Tranquillomages can quiet pain and reduce violent tendencies, with the most powerful being able to pacify entire armies of invading soldiers this way. Sensitivity to Tranquillomancy is a trait that is associated with those of The No, and as such is only really practised in the Merchant State of No Kil, the most northerly of the four great merchant states.

Manifestation

The manifestation of Tranquillomancy is the material of Marble. Those sensitive to Tranquillomancy can use marble essence as a pain reliever and touching marble will often calm the mind, almost providing a hypnotic effect.

Localization

The source of Tranquillomagic energy is the Odome, a strange, almost alien rock formation, a hemisphere of pure marble, that stands within the borders of No Kil.
