Fenralei

The Fenralei were an ancient society that existed many years ago, dating as far back as 500 years before the Genesis Era, and 800-1000 years before the Satori. The Fenralei came about before the prime gods discovered Viesora. They were a mixed group, comprised of strange races that are mostly gone from Brymstone today. If they exist in far away lands, the people of Brymstone are in the dark about it. The Fenralei were one of the only actual flourishing civilizations before the world was tamed. The planes of existence in Viesora get blurry, and it is likely that the elves of the Fenralei emerged by accident into the Shimmering Sands. Perhaps the city itself was even pulled through into the material plane. The Fenralei explored their surroundings, delving into ruins that existed years before they even arrived to find ancient magic. They tapped into the primal energy of the world around them to magically prolong their own lives. Today, virtually nobody knows of the Fenralei. Their culture was lost to time and their legacy proved to be irrelevant to the people of Viesora, a world nearly completely unrecognizable to the one the Fenralites would have known at the height of their rule.
