The Lazurian Legion

Structure

The Legion follows the structure of a Roman-adjacent military, with the Legatus leading both the military and the nation as a whole, advised by an elected Senate of 12 representatives-- one from each of the Legion's largest territories.

Religion

The Lazurian Legion only officially recognizes one religion: the Makhairan pantheon. Above the table, this is literally just a variation of the Greek and Roman pantheons, with either name for gods being correct and with distinctions between the two reconciled as beliefs of differing sects. The only practices outside of this that are actively forbidden are the worship of the Asterian pantheon, and of the Draconic Gods, as the Legion is locked in conflict with both the Star-Crossed Kingdoms and Kaz-Voradhur.
