Tempest Cathedrial

The mysterious ruins that the Circle of Masters keep a closely held secret

A overgrown building built by the ancients, it is said that when a grandmaster in training visits here they receive a blessing that allows them to use a ancient forgotten magic. It has 8 obelisks around the main building that have no known use other than being the holders of the keys to unseal the demon Tempester from his crystal prison underneath the building.

Purpose / Function

The house of the Seal of Tempester. The current purpose is a prison to keep Tempester in if the seal ever breaks.

Alterations

Alterations that have been done were mostly to keep the Cult of Tempester from coming in (they used barriers created from base herbs). The other things that were added were mostly for the benefit of the Circle of Masters, they made it harder to free Tempester from his sealed prison.

Architecture

Gothic structure, most likely built by humans after they came to Vionsria. Though the place is in ruin it is surprisingly stable enough to go into, though most of the valuables were stolen hundreds of years ago.

History

The Tempest cathedral used to be a place where the Cult of Tempester worshiped the Sealed Demon of Time, also known as Tempester. Now it is a place where the Circle of Masters prevent anyone from releasing Tempester from his prison of shadowed crystal seal. Yet recently the Circle of Masters is refusing to go into the cathedral after an incident happened where one of there own betrayed them and made the seal less effective and easier to break. Info on this event is foggy and the witnessess were found murdered a week after, though the suspect and his family was casted out of their tribe and nothing was heard from them since.
