Acriapdragos

A trading post between Astroporo, Linlake, and Aldell. It's on the mouth of a major river to the Otiose Paxis Sea. Acriapdragos is frequented by trading ships from the Islands, Astrian merchants, and Lin sellers. Acriapdragos is a peaceful but busy town, people bustle from one building to another, traders sell their wares in carts. Despite being close to the sea, there is a small number of sirens, aquatic elves, nereids, and selkies.

Government

The town was founded in -453 B.C. by Strarlu Springeye after a large demand for trade between the three countries. After the Astrian War, Acriapdragos was overrun by the South Astrians. The group formed a communist government which remains to the current date.

Defences

Stone, brick, and metal walls on the sea facing border of the town. There are towers dispersed through the area to defend from the air and cover large amounts of ground.

Industry & Trade

Trade, fishing, whaling, diving. Exports are fish and whale oil. Imports are fishhooks, harpoons, and cloth.

Assets

Ships pass through to trade with the locals. They own pearls, whale oil, and fat, caviar, rare and exotic fish, exotic Islander food, and plenty of cool technology from the Islands.

Guilds and Factions

South Astrians have a strong influence over the government. In fact, they are in complete control. They censor much of the news and assassinate those who disagree with their views.

History

People came because of the advantageous position it had, in a desperate bid for an alliance between the three countries, Astroporo established a settlement. The attempt might have failed but Acriapdragos lives on.

Architecture

Sea-side cottage, dull blues, tans, and bright white. Houses are adorned with bright colors and shells.

On plains that get annually flooded through spring, has access to fresh water via a main river
