Drow Elven Castle Ruins
The last remnants of a fallen empire set the stage for many battles to come. It was the height of architecture in it's prime. Rilrae was the last Empress.
Due to its isolation in the mountains, the castle ruins were left undisturbed by civilization for many years.
There's an unknown pothole near the back entrance of the castle. It is one of the lesser known gateways to Aonor the Celestial Dimension.
Purpose / Function
Housing the former royal family and their staff, the hub of ancient politics. Rulers signed treaties and managed the on-going wars. Rilrae held a collection of forbidden magic grimoires before her disappearance, including books on subjects such as necromancy and time magic.
Alterations
Rebel troops overtook the castle. They tore down the walls and set fire to the rest. The surrounding forest has since overgrown the castle, leaving trees and moss patches.
Architecture
Stone brick walls with heavy endurance enchantment runes, dark wood edgings and floors, and pillars adorned with banners. The banners were woven with the Landaluces house crest. The foundation is inlaid with clear white marble and ancient concrete. There are 18 entrances and exits, the most used being the Main Gates. It leads to the Courtyard before the main Hall.
The attached church was where they conducted marriages, baptisms, and prayers in the royal family. The windows were colored in the images of the Elven Pantheon.
The gardens had a small patch of rosemary plants.
