Months of the Year
The months of the Visctherian calendar year were named after ten great mortal heroes that existed during the War of the Gods. Since much of the Visctherian calendar was developed and instituted by Meskaovania before the Division of the World, each month name is one of the Meskaovanian heroes.

Days of the Week
The naming system for the days of the Visctherian week are more conventional than names of ancient heroes. The days are counted in elevated versions of the Meskaovanian number system, and are named Styts, Toi, Striazus, Tiirk, and Drasis.
Seasons
The seasons of Visctheria are really only felt just below and above the Visctherian equator in the more temperate areas of the world, where the changing of leaves and temperature are more obvious. The year starts in Winter, and ends in Winter, completing each revolution around the Sun in only two hundred fifty days.
Spring
Though the year starts with the month of Strasius, Spring begins with Gloweth and Droq. Since each month has the same number of days, the seasons are more easily measured.
Summer
Summer starts earlier in the Visctherian calendar year with Tali, and comes to a peak in Eims. When Kloseps arrives, the world knows Autumn is near.
Autumn
Autumn lasts for Glaralm and Ilghis, and does not affect most of the world of Visctheria, as seasonal changes are mostly only visible in the temperate zones of the world. Many countries celebrate Autumn as the coming of Winter rather than the departure of Summer.
Winter
Winter ends the year with Fluhr and Paulyo, and begins the new one with Strasius. Since the Visctherian calendar begins and ends in Winter, this is a highly celebrated time.
Holidays
The holidays of Visctheria are wide and varied, and few are recognized or celebrated across the world. The main holidays have been collected by Arcanists in the Visctherian Calendar.
New Year
The New Year begins in the dead of Winter, but there is still much celebration as it means Spring is on its way.
Ilotl's Blessings
When the sea begins to thaw and passage is less dangerous, the sailors thank Ilotl and take to their trade routes with a fervor.
Day of Petals
The beginning of Spring welcomes life back to the world of Visctheria with the Day of Petals, and thousands flock to Fosmia every year to see the fruit trees bloom.
Day of Strength
Across the world in rural areas contests of strength are held, typically to attract potential partners.
Midsummer
The peak of Summer is celebrated in the middle of Eims, when the Sun is at its highest.
Sunset Festival
The end of Summer is revered as both the coming of the harvest season and Winter, and is held on the last day of Kloseps.
Day of Whispers
A spooky holiday, the middle of Glaralm is typically a day for worshiping ancestors and loved ones who have passed to the Beyond.
Feast of Worship
Huge feasts are held on the last day of Ilghis to celebrate the Gods and all they do for mortals, and across the world thousands gather in communties to celebrate.
Elder's Day
Traditionally a celebration of parents and grandparents, this holiday has expanded to include those in positions of authority and education.
Year's End
The end of the year is held on the last day of Paulyo, and celebrates what happened during the year as well as all the possibilites of the new one.
