Chad Hungwell

Bar security head. Gives optical pat downs. Wears a black leather duster. Ripped. Not dumb, but not smart. Often wears black-stained glasses (sunglasses) so that people can't see him giving optical patdowns. Is 5 foot 6. Believes he is the optimal height, because now he can look women in the eye when they speak and treat them with respect.
Raised in a household that strictly worshiped Ilmater, the Crying God or the Broken God. Ilmater was the patron god of those who were oppressed, and his adherents were expected to remove the burdens of life from those around them, even if it meant bringing those burdens onto themselves. As a result, Chad's childhood was tough and full of hardships. As soon as he was old enough to live on his own (and had developed the skills to make a living) he fled is family to seek a life of independence. He had a close friend who was willing to house him when he ran away. This friend was an Elf named Alura, and she kept him safe until he could get back on his feet.
After being released, Chad spent his time in the tavern after work, getting to know the barhands and regular patrons. After defusing a fight between two rival dwarves, the innkeeper offered him a permanent job as head of security for the tavern.
