Istar Avalian, a Lothenian general during the Great War, later ascended to become the king of Avalia. Departing from Lothen in the aftermath of the war, Istar ventured northwest with a formidable army of knights to establish the kingdom of Avalia in the mountains. Tragically, his realm faced an assault by the Children of Chaos, sparking the War of the Silver Moon and ultimately resulting in the demise of King Istar Avalian.
