Kadash

A ceremony held by the race of the Sirakrat . It involves performing long cuts along the limbs, torso or head of the individual in order to draw strength from self inflicting pain. Kadash offers a temporary boost of power when performed, as it provides an extreme surge of adrenaline combined with divine strength and fanatic faith from the individual.

History

This tradition was brought to the Sirakrat by Arum and Mohak, the Blood Gods and through this ceremony, the Sirakrat evolved into a new species.

Execution

Long, surface cuts along limbs, torso or head until a strain of blood is revealed. A ceremonial blade is used for the cuts. The mark that derives from each cut upon the skin is considered a badge of honor and many marks upon an individual are signs of wisdom and hardship. Individuals that perform complicated cuts in terms of design are treated as "artists of the flesh".
