The Birth of the Sirakrat
After the Battle of the Four Daughters, the surviving God of Blood, Mohak, led his people to the Darklands to cleanse the continent of Nedel's energy and remnants, thus initiating the Second Quest. The journey was perilous and long, and the relentless nature of the barren lands in the west left the people starving to death. Mohak taught them to endure, to draw power by inducing further pain upon themselves, so that pain could neutralize pain—the greater the pain induced, the lesser the pain felt. To sate their hunger, Mohak is said to have cut his own liver and served it to the army in a huge and sacred ceremony. There, the race of the Sirakrat was truly born. Some say that the cannibalistic nature often found in many Sirakrat groups outside of cities also originated that day.
