The Empress of Umber

AlongsideKilaeth of Volaria, the Empress built Umber into the glorious kingdom it was nearly 2 centuries earlier, prior to the Lich's rule.
As a tiefling, her age is odd, having ruled from the years 453-653o.a. with no signs of aging as if she were of elven decent. Not much is known of her origin, but she was a well loved queen by her people, despite the mysteries that followed her- for even her name is elusive, being only known as the Empress or the Dauntless Queen by other nations.
Her legacy is that of bravery, wisdom, and power. Few dared to challenge her and those that did met a fate equally cruel. That said, her legacy also remembers her as a beloved ruler. She established Umber as a place of community for the outcast- namely roving tieflings at first, but quickly found much diversity.
Umber remains the namesake of Umbross, her patron who supplies her magic and likely sustains her youth.
