Floating kingdom made up of one large island and many smaller surrounding islands known as the lesser islands.
Volaria is essentially a melting pot, not predominated by any particular race and prides itself in being the most welcoming kingdom.
The present ruler is an elven archmage, Lord Kilaeth Drokorien, who holds favor with his people as he has helped develop the city to what it is today.
Their well-known and coveted Magi-tech gives the city the charm of a bustling medieval town with accents of steampunk flavor.

• Magi-tech includes many things that are both held together by material and magic, such as airships, automatic water filtration systems, easily-available experimental alchemy, and so much more!
• More recently mechanical guardians have been developed to provide safety during the Dark War.
• The development of magi-tech has also accidentally led to the creation of sentient magi-tech creatures such as clockwork pseudodragons, beetles, birds, etc., which are largely harmless in nature, but have occasionally caused issues.
• While magic is the dominant mechanism in the city, knowing magic is not necessary to live here. The tech operates automatically and many wizards move here for the plethora of jobs and help maintain and develop the tech without interrupting the common folks’ day-to-day living.
