Personal history
While Keidel and his family originally lived in Sira, they managed flee to Reiss during the reign of the Ilse Witch, quickly settling down in their new home. It was in Reiss where he started to try and gain employment, only lasting a few days at most with every attempt. The voices he'd been hearing in his head since his early childhood would distract or overwhelm him, causing him to not work up to expectations.
While getting food on the way home after one of his many employment attempts, Keidel ran into another satyr named Amisrae, the two quickly becoming close over the coming weeks and months. They started dating and ventually became engaged, with Amisrae being one of the only understanding ones in his life, and the only one outside of his family. After years of losing anyone who came into his life thanks to the voices, he couldn't have been happier to have something stable.
Keidel would attempt to make money through adventuring while Amisrae worked at a shop in Reiss, wanting to get to a point where he could provide for his soon-to-be wife. Because of his struggle to stay employed, the two live with Keidel's family until they can afford their own home.
