Personal history

With his previous mortal life being a topic of difficulty, Xahvryn still wishes for the safety of mortals while internally dealing with his own issues. He suffers with the image of himself, using his innate ability to change his appearance to hide his true self, finding it personally unappealing, with part of his distaste coming from looking relatively similar to how he did in mortal life. Such an issue piles on top of his want to feel genuinely loved and adored by someone despite his nature, of which he hides behind to try and gain some sort of satisfaction from his life. While outwardly charismatic and happy, internally empty, Xahvryn still tries to protect those he feels are close to him, not wanting to lose the few that he has left.

Mental Trauma

Came from a neglectful home in his mortal, tiefling life, while his father's abuse caused him to grow resentful of life and himself.

Had a single friend, a Minotaur named Kjersti, who he had dated and planned on having a family with, though all plans were crushed when she was killed in an attack while they were travelling, leaving him gravely wounded. Even as a demon, he lives with the guilt of not being able to keep her alive. A small part of him still holds onto hope he could, one way or another, see her again, which he tries to push away as foolish despite still carrying a small trinket of hers till this day, being a small wood-carved rabbit.
