Chapel of Contemplation
The Chapel of Contemplation is the burned remains of a church, dating back to the early years of Las Vegas' existence. The desert sun has bleached the stone and wooden beams that remain, but the lack of rain or humidity have otherwise preserved what's left of the structure. A symbol of an eye inside a triangle is painted along one wall, out of sight from the street, that seems to be a much more recent addition.
Some of the wooden planks composing the floor have succumb to dry rot, revealing a basement beneath, and a set of rubble-buried stairs. Not much seems to have been stored down there, but inside a small cabinet was an very old book, the Liber Ivonis.
