Prophecy of Annihilation
The Prophecy of Annihilation foretells the events surrounding the doom of Abyss.
It's no secret to anybeing with access to the interstellar network that the universe is dying, but none know for certain how it will happen. Many predictions have sprung up, some with doomsday cults in tow, others self-fulfilling by their very nature.
But there is one cryptic prophecy of unknown attribution, dating all the way back to the Mythic Age, that may be the real deal.
When worlds be torn asunder,Who is the "Chosen One of Chaos"? Only time will tell. But much of the rest is quite clear to the denizens of Abyss. The "Veil of Darkness", often simply called "the Veil", is the edge of the universe, the barrier that separates it from the next 'verse over, and whatever may lie between them. It is not impenetrable, and others have tried to travel to other 'verses, to the "Worlds Beyond". Whether they succeeded, only they know. But it's a faint hope that many cling to during the Last Age of Abyss, as the signs grow more evident that the universe is indeed starting to fall apart.
and the Veil is rent to shreds,
when light fades out forever,
and time itself is lost,
the Chosen One of Chaos
may yet lead youze hence: Beyond the Veil of Darkness
where other Worlds await,
afore the End of All Things
takes what life is left. As darkness shrouds the dying,
and voices quiten down,
as cold turns breath to freezing,
and minds darken to mourn,

ye undead and ye lost,
for ruin is upon youze
and time is running fast: The Light that once brought death,
decay and misery,
