A local banker, Absold arrived in Volarus with a concerning amount of coin, he immediately funded the foundations of the city at surprisingly fair rates. It soon became clear that this man did not supply platinum out of good will, being owed favours and suppressing competition ensured that his initial hold on the city propelled him to the top of mercantile nobility. He commonly loans money, hires adventurers and purchases condemned property throughout Volatyen ever increasing his influence in the new world.
