High Lord Inquisitor of Ageron

The Lord High inquisitor of Ageron is the Highest position of Non-Hereditary Nobility serving under the king of Ageron He oversees the lands under the King as both the Kings head Sheriff and Principality Marshal. He oversees the general protection of the roads and Highways and enforces law in the countryside as Inquisitor is within his title he also is in charge investigating suspected crimes against the King Granting him a strong hand in many of the towns, hamlets, and shires within Ageron.
Serving under the High Lord Inquisitor can be at least a 50 or more Marshal Inquisitors, and more than 500 Inquisitor's, Many games keepers, Wardens, Road Wardens, Tax Collectors, Even some Priests of the Kings favored churches Helm, Hoar, Gond, and Seneschals. The Lord High Inquisitor is Headquartered in the City of Kriegholm the Capitol City of Ageron. From here he or she has a home granted to them by the title and also overs see's the King's Prison the Largest Jail and Dungeon in all of Ageron.
Earning the Rank/Title of Lord High Inquisitor is only granted by the King of Ageron and is usually a lifetime appointment and the Lord High Inquisitor answers to the king about the Safety of his lands and roads. He Sends out his Marshal inquisitors and inquisitors to Investigate and deal with Crimes against the king. these may include Banditry, Looting, Assault against a township or the Kings lands. He uses Games keepers and Road Warden's to enforce the laws of the kings in the simplest of ways. Seneschals and some priests in the favored churches hand out decrees and judgments as an extension of the Lord High Inquisitor and report to him. Tax Collectors levy fines and payment and collect debts under the name of the King and the lord High Inquisitor. Finally Warden's oversee the Jails and Prisons in Ageron and answer to the Lord High Inquisitor.
The Current Lord High Inquisitor is Reese Bradwyr who has served under King Hothred the III now for 23 years he has garnered much respect and influence under the king but is known as a hard and Impatient man who when angered will use his authority and power act out swift and often punitive justice.

By Kings Appointment Only, There is A decree sent out through all of Ageron and Ceremony Usually set for the First New Moon in the Month of Appointment.

Oversee's Justice in the Kings lands, Roads and Highways, Oversee's Tax collection and Revenue, Oversee's The Kings Prison in Kreigholm.
