Vortex World

This was a peaceful world, once. One without technology, where all the primitive civilization tirelessly worked trying to survive and thrive, much more devoted to mental and spiritual improval than to a search for technological improvements.   It wasn't without its own share of problems. Many fledgling civilizations descended into barbarism and brutality. Others were ruined by more bestial inhabitants of their world. There were wars, sacrifices of thinking beings, occasional cannibalism, rapes and pillages. But there was also peace, one that came from hard work and courageous defense against those who wished them harm.   And then humans came. With their ideologies, technology and weaponry that no native could hope to match. And peace was no more. The Vortex Wars began.
