Compliance syndrome

Compliance syndrome causes the victim to be 100% compliant with the commands of others, unless those commands would kill them.

Causes

There is no proven cause, but doctors think that it could be due to severe psychological stress or damage to the brain.

Symptoms

The victim will do anything asked of them, even if it is something they previously didn't want to do.   The commands usually have to be doable within a certain time frame. For example, telling a victim to get a job, or move to Spain will not work, but telling them to make you some tea, drop what they're holding, or attack someone will work.   Asking the impossible also doesn't work, like telling them to fly or eat themselves. You also can't tell them to kill themselves, but can tell them do do something that would lead to killing themselves. Like stepping in front of an oncoming train, or jumping off a ledge.

Treatment

Victims should be admitted to a mental hospital, where they can be protected.

Prognosis

There is no current (3040) cure for this mental disorder. Victims should either be kept in mental hospitals, or in tight knit friend or family groups who know about the disorder, and won't abuse it.
