Guy (a.k.a. The Undying Demon.)

Guy fought hard, deflecting swords to his left and right. It was all he could do just to keep the steel from slicing him like ham. One unfortunate miss step later, he was left wide open. The life saving weapon he held only moments ago was flung from the field of battle, and guy felt as though time had slowed to a stand still. An eternity passed by as he saw the enemy, with fluid motion, swing their claymore in a massive arc towards the heavens. Along with the arc went Guys' arm, severed at the shoulder, blood spraying out like a hole in a barrel of wine. But guy now had a chance, and took it. His knife sang as it glided from its' sheath. Taken from its' home only to find a new one within the heart of Guys' opponent. A cough and a splutter tore the grin from his face, his eyes dulled like a candle being blown out. Guy was victorious, and he so enjoyed victory.
Guy was a Royal Guard employed by House Hokra. Nobody knew his real name, if he ever had one.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Guy is a scarred but handsome man with a crazy glint in his eye (actually it's a rare genetic defect causing his eye to take on a red hue). He has an entirely robotic right arm and a small horn on the right side of his crown. He is missing his lower right canine, and his upper right canine is quite large. He has a vertical scar across his lip, where the canine is. a long, deep scar starting on the left side of his forehead that goes horizontally into his hair line, and a feint scar horizontal across his throat.
his hair is a bit curly, medium length, and dark brown in colour.

Personal history

Guy was found in a pool of blood in the aftermath of a terrorist bombing just outside Advar city. He was the only survivor, and so was taken for interrogation by Empress Teis royal guards, who found him at the scene. Despite being near the center of the blast, Guy was mostly undamaged, a few scratches and small pieces of shrapnel lodged in his skin. Nobody knew where the pool of blood came from.
At first he was blamed for the explosion and was going to be thrown in prison or worse, but Setari ordered him to be freed. He was only a child, aged around 16. After trying to find his parents, Setari gave up and took him in as her own son.
With no memory of his childhood, and no record of his existence, he came to be known as "Guy" by the hospital workers of the Sathar prosthesis hospital. Guy had trouble fitting in, his horn was the center point of many cruel jokes in school. One day Guy attacked one of the bullies, setting him on fire using his newly found abilities. He was home-schooled after that. At age 18 Setari allowed Guy to undergo Melee training, a common past time of most Mregians. Even without his abilities or any prior training he was an unstoppable force, albeit unskilled. By the end of his first session he managed to get at least one good hit on the exhausted instructor, fracturing his jaw.
At age 23 Guy joined the royal guard. The other guards didn't get along with him. One of which was the same bully he set on fire many years ago. He later befriended the bully, one of his only friends so far.
Age 24 Guy is part of the personal guard of Empress Setari, who is meeting with leaders in Rezakia to try and quench the rebellions. During the talks a bomb is set off, and rebels assault the building. The royal guards come under fire, and several are killed. Only Guy and 3 others remained, but reinforcements were delayed, the Empress had to be evacuated to the harbour. During the move through the city the group gets ambushed by more rebels, one of which grabs Guy and slits his throat, then lunges for Empress Setari, Guy manages to grab the assassins ankle and cause him to trip, while holding his own gushing throat. Guy then stands up and finishes off the assassin by stabbing him with the same blade that cut him. He kept it as a memento.
Age 26 Guy defends the Empress a second time from a would be assassin, another Rezakian rebel that managed to infiltrate Setaris' flagship. He get's shot point blank, the bullet just gouging out a cut across the side of his head, deflecting off the skull. The assassin was then shot 10 times in the head as Guy laughed with what can only be described as pure joy.
Age 28 The last time an Assassin would dare to attack the Empress. A group of cyborgs met with Setari, who wanted to help rehabilitate them into society, and give them better limbs than the prototypes they were forced to endure for her own synthetic body to be created. Needless to say they were quite offended at the prospect of having their limbs replaced yet again. The group overpowered the guards and held the Empress hostage. Guy was busy elsewhere in the Palace, but soon came to the rescue, killing every cyborg up until the last one, which was a war veteran and skilled sword fighter.
During the intense battle with the Cyborg Leader, Guy knew he could not keep up with the superior strength and speed his opponents limbs offered, and so allowed him to land a hit. The Cyborg chopped Guys' right arm (his sword arm) clean off. This great attack threw the Cyborg off balance and tricked him into thinking he'd won. But even before Guys' arm hit the floor, he pulled the Rezakian blade from its sheath and stabbed him in the heart. Guy lost consciousness soon after, and woke up 18 days later in the Sathar Prosthesis hospital.
At first, Guy refused a robotic arm, but was turned around to the prospect by his friend, Fiero. The Empress pulled out all the stops, and custom made the arm herself, a talent she hadn't used in many years.


Guy Continued to serve as Setaris' head bodyguard, until her eventual death.

After the Empresses death

Since Setari had no heirs, Guy was ordered to protect the Hokran claimant of the throne. He didn't get on well with her, as they spent a lot of their first month together arguing about trivial things. She was a stubborn girl who didn't enjoy all the sudden weight on her shoulders as she was expected to take the throne. After only a month, an inevitable civil war began, the Pofgyt army marched for Aldyr, where she and guy were waiting. It was during the battle of Aldyr that Guy first fought Kessedriel , a massively powerful Adarran. Guy had heard about her, about how she was not scorned for having horns, but applauded for it. His own experience had been quite the opposite. Despite her being much younger and less skilled in combat, Guy was thrown by her raw telekinetic power, which boosted her strength and speed to such an extent that even if guy were in his prime he could not hope to beat her. During this fight, Kes obliterated his prosthetic arm, forcing him to retreat with his charge and escape the city before it was completely over run with Pofgyt troops. This was no easy task, and Guy was distraught at the destruction of his arm, something that his foster mother, and deceased Empress had crafted just for him.
On their way to Advar, Guy got word that Fiero was fighting against the Hyfel army at the Nyrivus border, they were sure to be over run soon. Guy decided to take a detour to see if he could help. Unfortunately, this detour ended in Fiero dying in front of him, Guy was powerless to help, as his arm was still in tatters. The pair high tail it back to Kastiv and then back on the trail to Advar. 
Fasida was the target of several attacks by townfolk, who knew that killing her would be the quickest way to end the war, these attacks are all thwarted, but Fasida is left doubting herself, thinking that maybe she should die if it means so many others will survive because of it. 
Finally the pair arrive at the outskirts of Advar, Fasida is handed off to the city guard. Guy takes a transport to Nost where he heads to the Sathar prosthetics hospital to get his arm replaced. The following morning he witnesses the death of ISO, another of his cherished friends, at the hands of Soren Miganelli. After all that has happened, his foster mother dying, his best friends dying, his last token of his foster mother being destroyed, being beaten by Kessedriel, and the civil war, Guy has finally lost all his fighting spirit. Instead of joining the final battle, he faked the death of Fasida, and hid her away on the outskirts of Nost. That was the last anyone heard of him.
