Rixea

Defences

Knights and their entourage walk the streets and survey the various businesses to ensure peace is kept. A military training camp is located within the city, thus allowing for quick response if thieves or the like get too ambitious.

Industry & Trade

The town started as - and still inhabits the spirit of - a trade camp. When folk would leave Vraccus to sell their goods or make for greener pastures they would have to travel through Rixea to move south. Thus traders, taverns and inns cropped up to give a resting stop to those venturing downward. As time went by and more people began to make Rixea their home scholars began to move in and set up a university and a library. Now days the town has boomed making it a hot spot for scholars wishing to learn history or alchemy. Traders still travel here selling all sorts of goods or buying supplies to bring up to Vraccus.

Infrastructure

Paved roads sprawl across the flat lands of Rixea leading in and out of town in all directions and bringing people to the front doors of the varous businesses. In the center of the town and by every entrance way rests large court yards for traveling merchants to sell goods, bards to perform for tired travelers and plenty of seating to relax and rest for a spell.

Guilds and Factions

An outpost of the traders guild can be found here, specializing in relic trade. Counsel of the coin has their presence here as well, going where the money takes them. The hand of lilth is mildly active here, trying to keep close to the southern kingdom where ancient magic seems strongest.

Architecture

Rarely is there a building that is more than two stories tall. Instead most people spread outward to expand and claim as much land in Rixea as possible. This is partly to ensure any traveler trying to come from or go to Vraccus must come through this town, which gives a chance to pitch their services or goods. However, the university, The Dukes manor and the trade guild hall all break this mold and reach further than just two stories tall.
