Chimaeran Hunters

Chimaeran Hunters are groups of people that began to appear during The Unwritten Age after the ascension of Chimaera - Scourge of Primordials / Empress of Monsters. Some of them worshipped Chimaera while others just admired her and wished to follow in her footsteps. The groups of people were originally nomadic tribes that traveled around Vylderaine hunting Primordials in an effort to gain enough power to hopefully ascend as Chimaera did. Nowadays, many of the stronger or more easily found primordials have been slain and as a result many of the clans of Chimaeran Hunters have given up on their nomadic roots and created permeant settlements, and instead of actively hunting primordials, they instead live their lives honoring their ancestors and the primordials their clain has slain in the past. Some clans do still devote their lives to travel and the hunting of primordials though either out of devotion to Chimaera or in the pursuit of power. The individual clans of Chimaeran Hunters are usually all named after certain beasts that Chimaera has created and often raise and take care of such beasts.
