Material Plane

The Material Plane is the constant battleground of influence by forces both internal and external and external to the plane. Ever since The Creation of the Material Planes was began by Aedifidea - Planar Architect and Tempmet - Time's Arrow / Moons' Keeper, the other deities of the planar universe as well as countless other beings have tried to exert their influence on the plane. This is because, unlike all of the other planes, the Material Plane is not yet completely controlled by an single group or faction of deities or extraplanar beings. Combining that fact with the seemingly endless supply of mortal souls on the Material Plane to be influenced and gathered for power by these deities, the plane is a veritable buffet to all of the other planes and holds near limitless potential for their plans. Unfornately for these beings, the residents of the Material Plane seem incredibly adaptive to any sort of influence for long and whether by the actions of a few mortals on the plane or by interferrence from a rival being, no plan to completely dominate the Material Plane has succeeded yet.
