Provenance / Mjiwa Kuzaliwa

Provenance is said to be the name of the first humanoid settlement on Vyldraine during The Creation of the Material Planes. The name was said to be given by Aedifidea - Planar Architect and Tempmet - Time's Arrow / Moons' Keeper themselves. However, after the events of The Schism, Provenance was all but destroyed and all that is left in its place are The Ashes of Creation. According to the people of Juudunia however, part of the settlement still lives. The city of Mijwa Kuzaliwa in Ustaisha is built of incredibly old buildings and infrastructure that seems remniscent of the few ruins that have been unearthed on the Ashes of Creation. While impossible to prove for certain, most people in Vylderaine seem to accept it as fact that Mjiwa Kuzaliwa and Provenance were once one and the same. Because of this, Mjiwa Kuzaliwa is a popular destination for religious pilgrims who desire to see the birthplace of civilization. Mijwa Kuzaliwa is also considered one of the four remaining Sovereign Cities.
