Vallis Mohren, 2nd of Lharvion

Eclipse: The damn Tabaxi loves rubbing his nose in business not his. It's gonna get him killed one day, but I'm also certain it'll be what saves countless lives. He needs something that will allow him to do it better, but he doesn't seem like he'll ever be subtle about it. That giant mass of dick-flapping kitty-confidence. So I should help him find a way to be as safely reckless as possible. I'm an illusionist, not an Abjurationist, and I have a strong feeling Bella won't want to help Eclipse get into more trouble. She's a parent like that. So... hm.   Omen: The kid needs something with greenery. If he wanted another companion, though, he'd just show up with one or grab the Companionship Band. He needs something unique. Perhaps an Orb of Dreams? Something that will manifest what he longs for most, and project it into three-dimensional space. No, no. But I can't give him something nice while giving the others something with practical magical application. So this Orb should do something.   Kymos: The bloody bastard is as sly as a black cat. Walks like one, stalks like one, scampers like one. He already has hear-me-not boots, a see-me-not cloak, and a fuck-with-me-not pendant. So evasion and offense aren't necessary for the kid, he's got it covered. If only I knew what Infernal bloodline he had, I could work with that. But one thing I do know is if this kid from a burnt-down monastery keeps up his... hobbies, at this rate, he'll be munch meat for the Inquisitors any day now. With their tracking hounds, goggles, lenses, and detective kits. Not to mention the Urban Rangers have a sub-sect group coalition with them. He doesn't need to evade, he needs to disappear... his mask! A Mask of Disguise Self would be wicked for him...no SHIT! Illusions hardly work on Inquisitors, especially Head Inquisitors. But they work on guards. Shadow monks can summon darkness, cover their tracks, move unseen, slip through shadows, and isolate entire rooms of people with silence. So if illusions are iffy, he can already cover his tracks, has a cloak and boots that allow him to slip by, and a mask to conceal his identity...yeah.... THAT'S IT!   Yuspira: Yuspira, my curvy Kalashtar lover with your wondrous curiosity and bewildered mind. What to do for you... holy shit. What if I could add illusory 3-dimensional properties to your sage books, so it displayed the information for everyone to look at and allowed you to study it while putting the book down. Perhaps a Scholar's Spectacles, something that allows you to link a book to them and view the contents through the lenses of the monocles, giving you instant access to... I don't have any spells for that. That would be Legend Lore. No, it needs to work under my limitations. Hm...AH!

Shadow No More

A curious and charming outsider of the residents of Gleanhold, Valice piqued a particular interest in the common folk when he became a citizen with his Wood Elf step-parents, Tenzen Mohren and Vivia Skaal. The two farmers were veterans of the Amber Coast military, one a Monk and one an Arcane Archer, the two raised Valice to be a functioning member of the surface world that Valice had been conditioned for 30 years to hate. Unable to enjoy the social delights of the cold and crowded world due to extreme light sensitivity, Valice could only step out at night, and thus got accustomed to the worst of the denizens of the city: the Criminal Underground, Gangs, Thieves, and Brothel-goers. It was there that he found himself befriending the local beggars, and getting protection from the local gangs of the area. As he started to apply his skills to be swift, deceitful, and a brilliant entertainer that conned Red Light visitors out of money, he happened upon a mysterious man that saw potential in him. The man was, in fact, Fransir Runkin, the Director of the Illusion School of Magic from Oracle University of Sagecraft and Wizardry. Valice could not fool him but instead intrigued him. Fransir taught him the Minor Illusion and Friends cantrip, and told him to raise 300 copper in the next month by applying the spells to his street performance. By the end of the month, Valice doubled the challenged income, and learned the Darkness spell from his Drow Ancestry to escape those who did not take a liking to his con art. Fransir then took Valice in under scholarship to study at the University, the first act of good fortune to befall the Drow boy. There, he studied Illusion Magic at Night School and soared up the ranks as one of the most cunning, elusive, and devious students of the craft. Staying indoors during the day, he studied the magic all day and then applied out in the world at Night when he attended class. Essentially, he devoted his life to the craft. Additionally, he took a keen interest in alchemy, in which he excelled greatly due to his early Drow-born upbringing. When he was older and fought a glass ceiling that was set due to reasonable discrimination against his race, he managed to become a Teacher's Aid and then a substitute teacher for Night School. However, while he was teaching a class at Night School, Drow Assassins found his family home and murdered his parents trying to find him. He returned to an ambush by the Drow, but the Djinn Nocturne arrived at the scene and swiftly controlled the battle with its magic. Together, the two of them slew the assassins quickly. Riddled with grief and emptiness, Valice respectfully retired from his position at Oracle University. He now maintains his connections to the faculty of Oracle University, who helped him through many loops and hard work, open up his own shop, called Twilight Concoctions, where he could pursue his specialty in alchemy and market it off to the people of Gleanhold. He began investing back in the communities and poor that co-raised him in his childhood, and became a local philanthropist and safe-haven for those afflicted by cruel disadvantages in the Red Light and Port District of Vyscaria.
