Of all the above ground locations established since Wallencia was conceived, Amberwood is the oldest. A few members of a fabled group of elven mages, known as The Sortilege, set up residence here as the first free town after a treaty with the dragons seperated the Forbidden Lands and Wallencia. Friendly to outsiders but rarely meddling in the affairs of others, the elves of Amberwood focus on their connections to magic and nature.
