Gimmons was deserted to the surface as a baby. He was discovered by a secret clan of Baphomet worshipers, who thought he might make an excellent sacrifice, the clan leader took pity and adopted Gimmons. He was raised above ground, and spent his evenings in the dark nights, exploring. One night, while out on his own, a group of Paladins intent on eradicating evil, killed all of the cult, leaving Gimmons, again, on his own.
Gimmons journeyed off on many adventures as a thief and a rogue; stealing the treasures of men and the trust of women. He sometimes partnered with other rogues, including Malakai Goldheart. While traveling across the ocean, Malakai and Gimmons were heading towards an island of great treasure. Malakai began thinking he didn’t want to split the treasure with Gimmons, and pushed the Drow overboard.
After days afloat, Gimmons found himself washed up on the shores of Barovia, where he spent months traveling with other adventurers and fought against the mighty vampire lord, Strahd. Barely escaping with his life, he eventually made his way back oversea to Wallencia. It didn’t take long, though, until Gimmons was up to his old tricks.
While scouting a burglary target in Arwahl, Gimmons was recognized and cornered by city guards, and placed under arrest. His current location is the Arwahl prison but…no prison ever held him for long.
