Captain Gin was a famed hero in the Krellmarian army, who's battle cry would incite courage in his fellow soldiers. His bravery at Bleeker's Ridge against the orcs of Sslaag turned the tide from what should have been an overwhelming defeat into an underdog's victory. His ferocity earned Gin the nickname "Gin the Grim" by the orcs.
In 3325 AW, Gin and his men were sent into Wyvern's Pass by Colonel Rallex. Gin sensed a trap but the Colonel was headstrong and Gin obeyed orders. All of Gin's men were killed that day, and Gin was the only one to walk out alive. His first order of business was to punch Colonel Rallex in the face, knocking him unconscious, and then quitting the army. He left Krellmar to become a sword for hire, eventually getting an invitation from Ursulla Verde. Gin joined the Nameless Ones, and helped in clearing out the Star Spire Temple, as well as vanquishing Glovan from the Korda Mountains.
While traveling with his fellow Nameless Ones and Szandor Hornraven III through Ingosburg, Gin disappeared quite mysteriously in the middle of the night. He left a note for his friends, saying he had something he had to do, and that he would return. So far, no one has any idea what has become of him.
